👊🏾Stroke and Colon Cancer are more than 70% preventable.

2. Engage in regular physical activity:

Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity per week, along with muscle-strengthening exercises twice a week. Regular physical activity can help prevent chronic illnesses such as heart disease, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.

3. Avoid tobacco and limit alcohol consumption:

Smoking is a leading cause of chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and respiratory diseases. Quitting smoking and avoiding secondhand smoke is crucial. Additionally, excessive alcohol consumption can increase the risk of liver diseases, certain cancers, and other health problems. Moderate drinking is recommended, with a maximum of one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men.

4. Manage stress levels:

Chronic stress can contribute to the development of various chronic diseases. Implementing stress management techniques such as regular exercise, mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, adequate sleep, and seeking social support can help reduce stress, improving overall health.
